This was a challenge to build a structure using only paper and white glue to allow an egg to survive a six foot drop. I was inspired by the maple key seed pod released by a tree and used the rotational blade to create lift and cushion the fall. The egg is mounted in a crumple zone consisting of strips of paper and tubes. Under the wing is an aero foil shape and around the egg is a ridge that allows for air to collect and buffer the fall. It survived two throws in class and could easily survive many more from greater heights.
